If you are looking for a new addition to the family please give a shelter dog a chance.

These dogs are looking for "forever" homes. They have all been vaccinated, dewormed and given a flea treatment. We take care not to adopt out any dogs known for aggression problems no matter what the breed. As you can see they come in all shapes and sizes!

Hudson, a 5 year old husky mixed male

Hudson is a great and well-adjusted boy! We fell in love with him the day he arrived as a stray at the SPCA. He is good with other dogs and loves people. He is also very treat motivated, and loves sitting for praise. He is clean in his pen, and loves going for walks!

Molly, a 7 month old spayed lab mixed female

Candy, a fixed 10 month old pitbull mix female

Cocoa, a 5 year old lab/terrier fixed female

Cocoa is a really great girl! She is housetrained, fixed, is good in the house and is great with kids. She has energy to burn and would do great in an active home. She is a big sweetie who is looking for lots of love and attention!

Elvis, a year old chow/shepherd mixed male

Elvis is very eager to learn and he sits very nicely. We are working on his slight aggression towards other dogs (mostly with Bear). He is a big boy with an even bigger heart. He probably would do better in a home without small children.

Angel, an 8 year old Beagle mixed female (fixed)

What is age, but just a number? This great girl is good with cats, dogs and people. She is housetrained. She also loves to play and go for walks.

Adria, ADOPTED!!

Angie, ADOPTED!!!

The only negative thing to say about Angie is that she pulls on the leash, but we are working on that! She is calm and a happy girl, who loves to play and cuddle with people. She is also housetrained.

Diefenbaker, a fixed 1 1/2 year old St. Bernard mixed male
Diefenbaker needs someone with some training experience. This big goof walks well, and bonds very quickly to people. This unfortunately means he becomes very protective with his family, so he needs someone who can work on this. His best friend at the shelter is Katrina.  He loves to play and be snuggled with.

Keisha, a shepherd/cattle dog mixed female
Keisha gets along with some other dogs, but we would recommend a home without small children. She is also being trained to walk well, and responds to affection!
Katrina, a 1 1/2 year old St. Bernard female
Milan, a 2 year old fixed golden retriever mixed male

This great dog may be high energy, but he loves everyone and wants to be with people. He is learning to walk well.
