If you are looking for a dog AND you want to make a difference, not only to one individual, but the community, adopt a shelter dog!
These dogs are looking for "forever" homes. They have all been vaccinated, dewormed and given a flea treatment. We take care not to adopt out any dogs known for aggression problems no matter what the breed. As you can see they come in all shapes and sizes!
Spenser, a 2 year old terrier mixed male
There are two things that make Spencer's world a lot brighter...walks and squeekie toys. This little guy is a treat to have around, because he has the playfulness of a puppy, but the calm temperament of an adult. We all love Mr. Spencer around here, because he is very low maintainance, and is great with anyone willing to give him a bit of attention!
Milan, a 2 year old fixed golden retriever mixed male
Milan is a fantastic dog, who has been here a long time! He is very intelligent, and learns very quickly. He walks well with some correction, knows his commands, and can pick up on things fast. He loves his toys and going for walks!
Sheeba, ADOPTED!
Sheeba came to the shelter as a stray, and she is an amazing dog. She is very affectionate, and really likes being around people.
Domino, a 1 1/2 year old female
Domino is a great and fun girl! She came in as a stray, and we have no idea why!! She is loveable, friendly, likes other dogs, and loves to play.
China, an 8 month old chow mixed female
Cappy, a 7 month old golden retriever male
Cappy had a skin infection as a pup, but has since been treated. We don't know if he will ever grow back all of his fur, but he makes up for personality. He is very sweet, and intelligent and loves to be cuddled.
Cooper, a 2 year old chow mixed male
Not the greatest picture of Cooper, but trust us, he is very friendly! He is housetrained, and really likes hanging out with the shelter staff, getting lots of attention!
Neeko, a fixed 1 year old retriever/terrier mixed male
Roxy, ADOPTED!!
Peanut, ADOPTED!
Peanut is an adorable little boy! He is a little timid, but he loves children, other dogs and cats. He especially loves to try and play with the cats, but isn't rough.
Sally, a 10 month old fixed retriever/terrier mixed female
